Los chatbots son una interfaz de conversación que permite satisfacer las necesidades de los clientes. Ayuda a las empresas a impulsar su branding, la fidelización y experiencia de usuario a través de una conversación online. Esta herramienta de comunicación puede ser programada según cada empresa con el objetivo de recabar información sobre el cliente, procesarla y en base a ella resolver las dudas y necesidades del cliente sobre el producto y/o servicio y sobre cómo realizar la compra.
Hoy en día los consumidores utilizamos las redes sociales para comunicarnos, tanto con amigos como con empresas. Es por ello, que las empresas tienen que adaptarse e integrar otros canales de comunicación como son los chatbots.
Sin embargo, aunque se ha demostrado que es una buena herramienta de comunicación, aún muchas empresas no han implementado el chatbots en su empresa.
¿Por qué las empresas no utilizan chatbots?
Muchas empresas aún no se han decidido a integrar esta herramienta en su negocio porque hay falsos mitos que les echan para atrás según Gus, compañía de Inteligencia Artificial y Comercio Conversacional.
- Solo puede responder las preguntas más frecuentes. Sin embargo, pocos saben que los chatbots además de las FAQs también están creados para recomendar un producto, procesar un pedido y hacer un seguimiento, entre otras funciones.
- Los chatbots son igual de aburridos que un sistema de mensaje de voz automatizado. Puede crear en el cliente una experiencia negativa perjudicando a la reputación de la marca.
- Un bot atenta contra la privacidad del usuario. No obstante, todos los datos quedan protegidos por la Ley de Protección de Datos, al igual que si fuese una persona quien te atendiese. Es normal que para poder resolver dudas se soliciten datos como el nombre, el número de pedido, etc.
- Causan desempleo. Aunque es un pensamiento generalizado la realidad es que los chatbots son un complemento. Están creados para que una persona sea capaz de atender llamadas más complejas y no para sustituirla. Los bots por su parte se dirigen a resolver preguntas sencillas, comunes de forma automática.
- Los chatbots solo sirven para el departamento de atención al cliente. La labor de esta herramienta ha ido evolucionando, aunque al principio se pensaron para la atención al cliente, hoy en día podemos encontrar chatbots dirigidos a distintos servicios como agendar citas, contratar un seguro…
- Son difíciles de hacer. Esta afirmación depende de los recursos de la empresa. No todos requieren de horas o días, algunos pueden crear en minutos.
